APDC and JCI New Zealand presents “Climate Change In Asia-Pacific: From Anxiety to Action.”

The aim of the project is to be able to address the importance of understanding climate change in

Asia-Pacific. Asia-Pacific is one of the most vulnerable regions to climate change and impacts are

projected to become more intense in the future.

About the Host organisations:

APDC stands for Asia Pacific Development Council. APDC consists of a group of people who

works for the development of JCI National Organizations in Asia Pacific region. The establishment

of APDC is based on the spirit of exchanging knowledge among the National Organizations can

gain momentum and thus achieve sound, rapid and healthy growth within their own territories and

therefore positively contribute to the overall growth of Junior Chamber International.

JCI Zealand is the premier youth leadership organization in New Zealand composed of young

professionals, entrepreneurs, businessmen, politicians, corporate managers, and socio-civic

workers. The organization aims to develop leadership skills amongst its members and provide

opportunities to create positive change in the community.
