Product Description
The Young Leaders in Business Forum will be like no other conference previously hosted in New Zealand. Organized by young professionals for current and future business leaders, we invite you to Connect. Develop. Act. throughout the 3-day event. Learn how to connect with your authentic self as a leader; Develop new skills and insights into how we can apply the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to daily business and startup operations and values; and then tie it all together to Act by working in teams to develop sustainable solutions to some pressing business issues.
The forum aims to develop young business leaders to think sustainably and embrace diversity of thought, people, and culture for a better world.
Who should attend:
- University students wanting to develop sustainable business thinking;
- Current young professionals (corporates/startup) who want to contribute/learn about sustainability and diversity in business and how we can change business-as-usual practices;
- Current executive leaders or managers who want to understand more about the changing values and trends in business, connect with Millennial young professionals, and contribute to the ideas and discourse throughout the forum.
What should I expect from the forum?
JCI New Zealand has designed a forum that is packed full of high profile speakers and incredible content, but we also wanted the information to be a 2-way flow. So we’ve set up the workshops to be more conversational to allow for more personal and genuine connections between the speakers and delegates, and have also designed “couch sessions” where delegates can live tweet a time and topic they want to discuss in relation to the sustainable and diversity theme of the forum. This allows everyone to have a say and share ideas and visions that delegates are passionate about.
